The Slimegirl Project
design - model - implement

A personal project of mine was to create an original character from a specifc fictional species called slimegirls. They can be defined as "humanoid creatures that are made out of a viscous material", or simply a person made from slime.
I used my design (see image on the left) as a reference for the creation of a 3D model in Blender, with the goal of being able to use it in a social virtual reality game called VRChat.

The slime-Bottle Project
design - model - print

Motivated by an unexpected craze over the prop by the VR community I partook in, another personal project I worked on was the development of my own custom water bottle (concept). And not just any, but the water bottle that my original character carries with her.
Producing a usable version of this bottle would not be financially viable for a one-off, but it was a fun experience nonetheless.

From vr to real life

A friend asked me to create a set of rings for them and their girlfriend, to give as a gift for their girlfriend's birthday. Even though I was still a beginner when it came to 3D printing at the time, and had no experience with making jewellery at all, I still wanted to challenge myself with this project.
Through an iterative process of printing iterations of the ring, I explored the method that gave the best results. I refined the rings by sanding, painting and varnishing after assembly.
